ALEXIS STUART ANNOUNCES HER PLANS TO RUN FOR SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE!
Nipomo, CA – Alexis Stuart, a conservative resident in California’s 24th District, is hereby announcing her candidacy for Speaker of the House.
.
There is a great need for citizens like Alexis Stuart to step forward to run for Speaker of the House. Alexis Stuart is a small business owner who feels she is one of the people Congress has lost a connection with and is tired of the lack of leadership and the corruption in Washington DC.
“The local people know me; I am one of the small business owners and constituents who's business has been crushed in the failing economy!” “We need leadership from an average small business owner. Too many laws have been passed that make it impossible for a small business owner to create jobs and reach the American Dream. I am not an insider, connected, nor have I ever been bought by any special interest. I will be funding my own campaign like I did when I ran for Congress in the 24th District of California in 2014. I suggested people go patronize their favorite business instead of donating to my campaign. I may have lost, but I discovered how crooked the system is and and hopefully helped boost the economy in the process.” Alexis Stuart said.
McCarthy said in his email to his fellow House Republicans, he is "also sensitive to what is happening outside of the Beltway"
“I am not only sensitive; I am actually living and trying to survive the over-burdensome regulations and poor economy outside the Beltway.” “I, unlike many of our leaders have common sense and can see past the end of my nose. I can evaluate a law or regulation and see how it can destroy the economy and crush a person’s American Dream. I am a solution person, give me a problem and I can come up with a common sense solution, not something that only benefits a special interest." Alexis Stuart said.
McCarthy said “I want us to be much closer to the people we represent, and I want them to once again feel like this is their government, they are in charge, and we are here to serve them,” ”If elected speaker, I promise you that we will have the courage to lead the fight for our conservative principles and make our case to the American people. But we will also have the wisdom to listen to our constituents and each other so that we always move forward together.”
“You can't get any closer to the people congress represents, than being one of those people. I do not need to finally have the wisdom to listen to our constituents, as I have been one for 62 years.”
I am a trained mediator, not connected and not afraid to stand up to anybody. I also have two distant relatives, Henry Clay and John Carlisle who were speakers of the house previously. Why not shoot for the top, we, the constituents need immediate representation by a person who is in tune with the real day to day issues affecting the average citizen." Alexis Stuart said.
Additionally Alexis Stuart is running to bring attention to the fact an outsider can run for speaker of the house. Although her experience of trying to find the proper procedure included many phone calls to Congress resulted in many block walls. Her representative's office and most government employees she spoke with did not have an answer and said no one had ever asked them that question before. So obviously there are not a lot of outsiders trying to run for Speaker of the House. Alexis Stuart is determined to change the block wall attitude she received while trying to find out the procedure to announce her candidacy for Speaker of the House.
Please contact your Representative to ask them to vote for Alexis Stuart for Speaker of the House.
